Last year, the children in Year 5 entered the Dacorum Young Artist competition. They were able to choose their favourite piece of artwork completed across the year. All entries were wonderful, but a huge congratulations to Laurence who was awarded 'Best in School' for his harvest collage. At the award ceremony held at Open Door in Berkhamsted and attended by the Mayor of Berkhamsted, Laurence was also awarded first place, Best Overall among the 14 schools that entered this Year's Dacorum Young Artists competition. His highly accomplished collage landscape was praised by Head Judge, local artist Mary Casserley.
 

Laurence will be receiving a voucher worth £60 for art materials, a personal trophy and his name engraved on the competition cup, which is to be held by Potten End School, for a year.
