Potten End School’s Eco Council is made up of children from each class across Key Stage 2, who are passionate about learning more about the environment and looking for ways in which our school can become more sustainable both now, and in the future. 

Highlights

Last year, our Eco Council took part in an educational programme, run by Watford Football Club, where our councillors learned more about the global issues related to plastic pollution. Later in the year our Eco Council will be joining forces with Eco Councils from a number of schools, along with Watford & Cardiff Football Clubs to take part in a practical community project to clear (and recycle/dispose of responsibly) as much waste as possible from a section of the Welsh coastline.
