HOW WE ARE USING OUR PUPIL PREMIUM 2017-18
Potten End C of E Primary School received £34,077.50 in funding for the year 2017-18. This money is being allocated in the following manner:
- To subsidise curriculum enhancement for children whose families are experiencing financial hardship. This might include after school clubs, swimming and music lessons
- To subsidise costs of visits and events which enrich the curriculum and for which a donation is requested
- Towards additional Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support children with additional needs, in the classroom
- To support and subsidise therapy for children who require it
- Additional TA time to support children needing intervention strategies on a 1:1 basis
Break down of funding for Year 17-18 (currently based on budgeted outgoings):
- Educational trips and visits for pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium money: £1,739.30
- School clubs for pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium money: £705.30 (not including summer clubs)
- Swimming (Curriculum): £315
- Additional support for pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium money (1:1 or small group intervention support): £27,775.53
- Therapy for vulnerable children £5,545.00
This is a predicted total spend of £34,077.50 which represents a predicted overspend of £2,002.63.
