Hudnall Park
Children from year groups across the school have been lucky enough to take part in a pilot project funded by the national lottery. Along with Mrs Hingston and other volunteers, the children have been working on outdoor mindfulness and well being activities to improve the outdoor area and habitat for wildlife at Hudnall Park. The children have loved the experience and also have spent time making and using rope swings, building shelters and learning about how to survive in the outdoors. Thank you Hudnall Park for helping us learn!
We have our own Forest School area which the children across the whole school has access to. In Nursery to Year 1, the children have a weekly lesson using this area. However, the teachers in Years 2 - 6 try to incorporate outdoor learning into the curriculum as much as possible.
