Rooted in faith, we nurture, grow and flourish

Our school vision and ethos is rooted in the Parable of the Mustard Seed

“What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”  Mark 4.30-32

The parable of the mustard seed is the key biblical story that reflects so much of our school vision and mottoRooted in faith, we nurture, grow and flourish.’ It can be a metaphor for our children, who blossom during their time here ready for the next stage of their journey in learning and life. The school is like the mustard tree where each child is nurtured and enabled to flourish through our teaching, care and support. Everyone is encouraged to grow within themselves and contribute to the flourishing of the whole school community and beyond. We treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve as children of God.
