Remembrance Service at Holy Trinity attended by our Spiritual Leaders

Remembrance Worship

Our House Captains led worship to the whole school. They discussed the need for peace and why it was important to pay tribute and respect to those who have lost their lives in conflict.

Remembrance Worship 2023

Spiritual Reflection Area

We have created a new Spiritual Reflection Area for our community to use. Each child in the school created their own leaf linked to our school vision.

Christingle Services 2022

On Tuesday 17 January we held two Christingle services in Holy Trinity Church. One service was led by Year 1, and the other by Year 3.

Such confident speaking and beautiful singing. Well done!

Remembrance Service at Holy Trinity Church

On Sunday 14 November, some of our Spiritual Leaders were pleased to take part in the Remembrance Service at Holy Trinity church. Hollie and Annabelle read the Bible reading, Pom shared the words before the 2 minutes’ silence and Raph laid the poppy wreath on behalf of the school. The children joined other groups from our local community and did an excellent job representing our school!

Remembrance Service

On Friday 11 November We took the opportunity to pause, reflect and remember today the importance of November 11 across the world. Poems were written and read, people were remembered and we fell silent for two minutes together at 11am during our Remembrance Service. Our Spiritual Leaders played an important role and “The Last Post” was beautifully played by Alexander - it was a special moment. Thank you to all the members of our community who joined us for the act of remembrance.

Celebrating Diwali

On Monday 7 November we held Diwali workshops. It is always a delight watching the children express themselves through the medium of dance and show a different side to their personalities.

Remembrance

On Friday 11 November at 10.40am we held a short service of commemoration on the school playground which will be led by Rev Joe and our Spiritual Leaders. We will have a time of silence at 11.00am. Parents and members of our community were invited to attend.

New School Prayer

God our Father,

We come to say thank you for your love today.
Thank you for the school that you have given us, that helps us to grow and flourish.
Thank you for fun and friendship. Thank you for our community and for all the people who nurture and teach us.

Please help us to make our school a place of laughter and friendship.
A place where we treat each other with kindness and respect and everyone is included.
Help us when times get tough and show us how to care for others when they are hurt.
Help us to make positive choices, so that every day we can do as much good as possible in the school that we love.

We thank you for your love and your promise to be with us.

Amen
