From their very first day at school, our children are encouraged to share their ideas, interests and curiosity. This allows our Early Years staff to build learning experiences around what truly inspires each child.

We have high expectations for all our learners, including our youngest children, and this ensures they make rapid and meaningful progress. Through well-structured support, children develop strong foundations in communication, mathematics and phonics through a rich mix of engaging adult-led and child-initiated activities.

A key feature of our Foundation Stage is child-directed learning. Children are actively involved in shaping their learning by sharing what interests them, the topics they would like to explore and the questions they want to investigate. By having a voice in their learning, children are motivated, engaged and inspired from their very first day in school.
