During our Armistice Day Service we held two minutes’ silence alongside members of the community who were invited in to join us. A huge thank you to Reverend Roberts for leading the service. It was a wonderful sight to witness so many generations coming together to pay respect and show compassion. I received some delightful comments from our visitors commending our children's behaviour throughout the service. They demonstrated our value of compassion so well.
Parents and carers bought poppies, wristbands and bracelets to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal this year. Noah from Year 5 represented the school in the Remembrance Service held at the church on Sunday. He read beautifully and was a great ambassador for the school.
